  3. Welcome to Vivid Interactive and NAKED REUNION!. Please note the following
  4. instructions and guidelines for installing and using NAKED REUNION and
  5. VIRTUAL VIVID!
  6.

  9. INSTALLATION
  10. ------------

  12. This program uses Apple's Quicktime for Windows to play back the movies you will
  13. see.  A runtime copy is included on NAKED REUNION disc.  
  14.  
  15.  
  16. You may begin installation of NAKED REUNION and VIRTUAL VIVID!
  17. in one of three ways:
  18.  
  19. 1 -- From within Windows File Manager - simply double click on the INSTALL.EXE
  20.      file (located inside the PC folder), directly from the CD directory.
  21.  
  22. 2 -- From Windows Program Manager - Select Run from the File menu and type 
  23.      the full path to the PC directory on the CD-ROM drive and INSTALL.EXE
  24.      i.e.  G:\PC\INSTALL.EXE
  25.  
  26. 3 -- From DOS - simply locate your CD ROM drive letter, type your CD-ROM's 
  27.      drive letter then hit enter, then type INSTALL.
  28.      i.e.  G:

  32. The installation procedure will not copy ANY files to your hard drive but will create
  33. a Program Group (Vivid Interactive) and Icons within the Group to facilitate play.
  34. Once your new icons are created you can click on the NAKED REUNION or VIRTUAL VIVID
  35. icon to begin play. Allow 15-30 seconds for THE PROGRAM to load (this depends on the
  36. speed of your hardware). Once in THE PROGRAM, allow 2-7 seconds to respond to your
  37. selections. To exit either program at any time, press Alt-F4 or click on the QUIT
  38. button, this should stop movie play and return you to Windows.

  40. System Requirements and Recommendations

  43.   IBM 80386 or compatible - 80486 will perform better
  44.  
  45.   4mb of free RAM  - with 8 MB recommended
  46.  
  47.   Double Speed CD-ROM Drive & Sound card (with Most Recent Drivers!)

  49.   Graphics Support for 256 colors (* 8-bit, 16-bit, or 24 bit)

  51.   Microsoft Windows 3.1 and above with Mouse 
  52.

  54. If you have a screen saver active, disable it prior to starting the program.  
  55. If the screen saver becomes active during the program you may lose your
  56. cursor.
  57.  
  58. Some high resolution video cards may require updated drivers in order to
  59. work properly with QuickTime for Windows. If you experience problems when
  60. starting or running the Program, contact your Video Card manufacturer to inquire
  61. about updated software for their card.

  64. * Additional Color Comments:

  66. These programs run in 8 Bit, 16 bit, or 24 bit color. To play these programs in
  67. other than 256 colors (8 bit), simply select the proper driver to run in
  68. either 16 bit or 24 bit (Read your Video Card Manufacturers documentation for
  69. information regarding your current Video Card's color capabilities, you may
  70. require a new Video Card to run in higher color settings). Once you have selected
  71. your new driver, simply start the program as explained under INSTALLATION. You
  72. may receive a dialogue box warning you that "you may experience unexpected results
  73. when running in other than 16 or 256 colors (8 bit), simply click the YES button
  74. and continue program play.
